ABOUT THE 100-YEAR PROJECT

Close your eyes and think about the camp memories that you hold fast…

These very memories form the heart of the camp’s history and legacy.

As we approach Camp Stella Maris’ centennial celebration, it is time for the camp community—both past and present—to share their stories, photographs, artifacts, and mementos that deserve recognition from a wider audience. These contributions will play a crucial role in preserving Stella Maris’s rich history, ensuring that the memories and experiences that have shaped us and the camp continue to live on for generations to come.

By sharing your memories, you become part of an exciting venture aimed at codifying the history of the first hundred years of Camp Stella Maris. Although we are still working out the exact details of this special project, the submissions we receive will be thoughtfully curated into a commemorative book and an interactive historical exhibit, which we aim to unveil during the summer of 2026.

This project is a unique opportunity to contribute to a lasting legacy, one that will allow future campers, counselors, and camp friends to connect with the enduring spirit of Stella Maris.

Please join us in this meaningful endeavor and help us celebrate the journey that has brought Camp Stella Maris to where it is today.
